This is a 'Diamond Lamp' for a Sony VPL EX246
Diamond Lamps are the cheaper replacement projector lamp, delivering on performance, quality levels, and backed up by oe bulb manufacturers for supply.
A Diamond Lamp is an alternative at lower cost that does not adversely affect quality as it uses the same bulb as supplied to the 'original manufacturer' (e.g Ushio, Philips, Osram).
