The Tascam DR-1 handheld digital audio recorder is ultra compact and will fit your pocket.  

A pair of microphones are mounted on a variable angle mechanism, which allows the Tascam DR-1 solid state recorder to record from almost any angle. The built-in stereo condenser microphones are arranged for a wide stereo image, and an external mic can also be used with the DR-1.

Other features are included on the Tascam DR-1 such as the onboard reverb effect, the ability to overdub onto pre-recorded material and a switchable low-cut filter set the Tascam DR-1 apart from the competition.

The Tascam DR-1 includes a generous 1GB SD card(SD HC Supported up to 64GB), for hours of recording at MP3 or WAV file formats, other SD cards can be purchased separately. The DR-1 also includes auto gain control and analog limiting for easy setup and a low-frequency cutoff to eliminate handling or wind noise.
